To celebrate or reading goals from October, we had a fun outing to BounceU today! The kids had fun and wore out their energy from all the bouncing! We were then bless with pizza for lunch! I'd say it was a very successful field trip!
We are blessed to have the IA, Indiana Academy, students putting on our week of prayer for us! Our theme this week is about Trusting in God! We are busy at school each and every day! In Miss K.'s class, we have been working on our bridge projects; designing and testing out our designs, learning how to present information to our classmates through skits and jigsaw learning stations! Thanksgiving is upon us and it's a time to reflect on all the things we have been blessed with in our life. CAES hosted our annual Thanksgiving Banquet program this year. The quote goes and still remains, "many hands make light work." This program came together because of our beloved church members, parents, and families! God has truly blessed us beyond what we even know. The students gave the story of the first thanksgiving, read some very good poems, performed the chimes and handbells, read thankful acrostic poems and sang a song called Thankful. The songs reminds us in a beautiful way that if we could count our blessings to 100 or a thousand, that there would still be more blessings God gives to us each and every day! We have been busy this week! We got a new 8th grader, making cards, having fun outside and learning lots of things in fun ways. Here is a little bit of what we have been up to! Here are some pictures of our students this week! |
