In the upper grades, we finished learning about the Jewish faith and especially about some of the special things they celebrate in remembrance of different things that have happened in the past. One is the Passover and Challah bread. We learned what the symbolic meaning of Challah bread meant and then we got to try our own hands at making our own Challah bread. In the lower grades, we had some fun making different pictures with paper!
We had the pleasure of hosting some IA students. They came to share picture books that they had created in their English class. We got to listen to them read their books to us, ask questions, and to look and see a future project we could be working on when we get to IA! WE got the chance to come to school dressed up as something we aspire to be in the future! Take a look at the fun things we came dressed as! In Science we have been learning about electromagnetic waves and all that goes with it! We got the chance today to make a wave machine to see how waves carry energy with amplitude, wavelength and frequency! The kindergartners have been reading a book where pancakes was a central theme, so they got to make pancakes in the kitchen! These are just some fun things that have been happening in our K-4 room recently! |
